4 Ways to Request Content Services from TheWordsmithKC
I am working on moving away from the Upwork platform and am now accepting clients directly. However, if you already have an Upwork account or you prefer to work on that platform, I still have options for you.
Please note: If you were directed here from Upwork after receiving a proposal from me on the platform, we must keep our relationship on Upwork. After years of reporting clients for asking to work off-platform, it would be hypocritical of me to do so myself.
You can now:
- Request a proposal without an Upwork account.
- Send me a direct message on Upwork if you already have an Upwork account.
- Request a proposal and use Upwork’s Direct Contract feature without an Upwork account. (This allows you the protection of Escrow.)
- Order from my Upwork project catalog.
My current focus is on legal content, but I am also experienced in providing content for mental health sites and home service businesses.

A 50% deposit on the first project is required. I can accept PayPal, CashApp, and MetaPay.
My rates are simple:
Blogs up to 750 words: $50
Blogs up to 1500 words $100
Long-form content: based on expected word count at the rate of $0.07 per word
